History: Gifted from a young age, Manfred studied abroad. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his music dream.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Tordek and his spouse have recently divorced.
