History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Slave Trader.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new slave trader responsibilities is difficult

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.
