History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has moderate length white hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.

Description: He stands about 3'4" and is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and tan handkerchief worn on his left side. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 49. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is greedy; and many illithids want him driven away
