History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Megged was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Cressel lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Cressel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cressel's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has never given up on his painting dream.
