Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Beloril was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Human compassion.
