When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Armorer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
