Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Thorin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Shipwright, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: This eastern man prefers to wear flannel. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Rangrim was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Zook hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Wymar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
