Description: A middle-aged man, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Roland abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Description: An older man who dresses like a well dressed Miner does, he is not a threatening figure. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Uthemar was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He struck the Miner job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: 6'3" and muscular, this western man wears professional attire. His chestnut hair is still thick. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 5'3". He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and his gloved hand is found clutching a longsword. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
