History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Ivellios hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Faran was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.
