History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Grûblik grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Grûblik. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Kriv was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
