History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Varis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and expand his business

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a warhammer on his belt. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Akmen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Akmen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
