The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Cartwright. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Jak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's also a talented Sellsword, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and money/treasure

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Laucian was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Drogo embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Drogo was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
