Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Ortegar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the south to a Cook, Ortegar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His black crest is singed and shortened. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Detective who has hired him part-time. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Mugrunden never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He's in love; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Diggory's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is content; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries with him a set of axes on his belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. His crest is cut close to his head. His eyes are gold.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Torinn was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
