History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Gnome Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shágflak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Shágflak has worked very hard to control his curse. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to prove his worth to the world
