History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Patrin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: Ar-Baruk was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
