History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to raise his children well
