He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Soveliss alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
