Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 4'11". He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and his gloved hand is found clutching a rapier. He has wavy white hair. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He's also a talented Assassin, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: This northern man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull red iron scale mail. His clothes are grease stained in places. His golden hair is cut short. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He is portly but not overly obese. He has wavy white fur. His eyes are a pleasant yellow.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Jade enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Jade was born the youngest of three triplets. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.
