History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zaffrab was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His childhood dream was to be a Ploughman, but he was a colossal failure. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born in the north. Randal was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Masseuse. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.
