When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Hirrathak began to lead the lost caravan. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
