One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
