Description: 6'3" and muscular, this western man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He carries a battered glaive and tarnished crossbow as well. He has no hair. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a pastel shirt, with a green mid length shorts with green tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, marred by beers. He wears his auburn hair up. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Born in the south to a Miller, Dustin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Dustin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
