Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: An older man who typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull grey iron scale mail, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Gnome Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
