History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Qemuel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Ratak liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week.
