Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Junk Dealer, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. Gorbundus is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
