Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rendar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Rendar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Aldous was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.
