He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His brown hair is singed and shortened. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ortegar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ortegar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has worked as a Architect like his mother before him.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Astar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
