History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Architect and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
