History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Caeldrim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Quarion's homeland. Quarion decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
