History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the east were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Oblar was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Navigator. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
