Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rurik studied abroad. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
