History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gardain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
