History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Ar-Kaius was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ar-Kaius's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
