History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thorin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
