Description: 4'0" and muscular, this eastern man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Ulfgar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. After coming to the age of reason, Arannis took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A freak accident while working with his Merchant mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
