Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a simple brown robe with pastel stripes complete with hood. He has wavy red hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are a pleasant brown.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and expand his business

Description: He stands about 5'5" and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his small brown hat.
Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a blue coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Adventurer born in the past three hundred years. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
