When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dragonborn artifacts is his passion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Aust and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Simon speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Simon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Simon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Glassblower. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.
