When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man likes to wear ponchos typically of a light blue in addition to tight pants. His hair is short and auburn. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 77. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Peren took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He bought a axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
