History: Heskan hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Carrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Carrie was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
