History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Courier like his father before him.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and revenge

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
