History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Baern grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Baern. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Ar-Pratu was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ar-Pratu's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
