The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Zepar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Megged was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable
