History: Born in the south to a Dilettante, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Description: This late middle aged man wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents and is in decent physical shape. His gold crest is lengthy. He has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
