History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Oppleby learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to prove his worth to the world
