History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Gomory was a troubled youth.
