At a young age his father died while driving off some drow. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in crossbow use. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Naeris was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Naeris reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Naeris was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
