History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Priest and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Feldûsh was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
