History: Nykkan hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Nykkan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gardain grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Reirak enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Reirak was born with his father's beautiful face. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He has worked as a Layabout like his father before him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
