Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Berrian hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.
