History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a tattered pair of loose white pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing yellow cape and mantle trimmed with soft green waves gently in the breeze. His hair is red and curly. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His white hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Paymon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To end his boredom.
